A psychology graduate from the University of London, Helen became an account director with London advertising and marketing agencies, moving to Manhattan in 1985 to help build a successful Anglo-American agency. Ultimately, she held the position of Creative Director in the fast-paced, crazy world of toy marketing.

Settling in Oyster Bay, Long Island she qualified as a massage therapist directing her creative skills towards decorating, re-modeling and landscaping a converted farm laborer’s dwelling and a Tudor style Cotswold Cottage - bringing her back full circle to her English roots.

A fourth generation decorator and paper hanger* Helen has established English Ivy Interiors to bring a century of family tradition and English Country Style to Long Island and beyond.

* Great-grandfather's Bernard Scott and Co. was established in 1917 in Manchester, England.
